A gated development of garden apartments, roof-terrace apartments, duplexes and penthouses, 500 metres from the sea. Developed by Nurel Group of Companies.

The setting

Lapta is on the north coast of Cyprus, between the mountains and the sea, and is one of the greenest parts of the island. The site is 500 metres from the sea, with sea and mountain views over olive and lemon groves.

The development is planted with bougainvillea, cypress and citrus, with a stone-walled boundary, gated entry and a car park inside the gate. Each block is two storeys: ground-floor apartments open onto private gardens, first-floor apartments have private roof terraces reached by their own staircase.

Around Lapta

Lapta is a residential town on the north coast of Cyprus, about 15 km west of Kyrenia, between the Kyrenia mountains and the sea. Daily needs are met in Lapta and neighbouring Alsancak. Kyrenia, the district's main town, is around twenty minutes by car.

The coast

The Lapta Coastal Walkway runs 3.5 km along the shore, with cafés on the way. Beach clubs along the Lapta coast offer sunbeds, restaurants and water sports. Camelot Beach and Escape Beach, both sheltered sandy bays, are in Alsancak. Lapta has a small harbour; Kyrenia's historic harbour and castle are to the east.

Everyday

Supermarkets, mini-markets and pharmacies line the main coast road, and a farmers' market is held weekly. Restaurants on the main road include Cypriot, Italian and Indian. Lapta has its own health centre; there is a private medical centre in Alsancak and private hospitals in Kyrenia.

Education

Necat British College in Alsancak follows the English National Curriculum for ages 2 to 18, through IGCSE and A Level. The English School of Kyrenia is at Bellapais. Girne American University is at Karaoğlanoğlu, between Alsancak and Kyrenia, and the University of Kyrenia is at Karakum.

Further afield

Korineum Golf and Country Club at Esentepe is the north's 18-hole course. The ruins of ancient Lambousa and the Acheiropoietos monastery lie on the shore east of Lapta, and the Kyrenia mountains rise directly behind the town.

Every apartment has panoramic glazing, a fitted kitchen, built-in wardrobes, natural marble, granite and stone finishes, suspended ceilings with LED lighting, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and kitchen, solar water heating and water filtration. Terraces and roofs are waterproofed. Bedrooms have laminate flooring; other rooms are tiled.

Blocks and availability

Seven two-storey blocks. Blocks A, B, D, E and G hold the 2+1 apartments: ground floor with a private garden, first floor with a private roof terrace. Block C holds the two duplexes. Block F holds the four 1+1 apartments on the ground floor and the two penthouses above them.

Blocks A and G are sold out. Availability below is correct as of 3 September 2026. Ayo confirms the current position for any unit on WhatsApp.
